Winter Wonderland Wedding Photographed in Annapolis, MD.

Tonight John and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Carey Young & Jeff Schuele in a record snow fall in Annapolis for December. The wedding took place at Saint Mary’s Church and the reception was held at the historic Calvert House on State Circle.

We were the photographers at Carey’s sister Caitlen’s wedding to Eric Petschke August 18, 2007 also at Saint Mary’s Church. It was great to see and catch up with Caitlen & Eric tonight as well. The weather of the weddings where in total contrast though we thought we would try to “match” a photograph that we took for both weddings.
I think you will agree that John was able to photography both bride and grooms love and spontaneity picture perfectly.

In preparation for this historic storm we spent the night at our Annapolis photography studio right outside of the United States Naval Academy where we were to meet Jeff for some of the formals at Mahan Hall there on the Yard of the Academy. Both Carey & Jeff graduated from the Naval Academy earlier this year and as you can see from the photograph Jeff is in the Marine Corps so is Carey though she chose to have us photograph her in her wedding dress (smiles).

An interesting fact - most of their guest made it to the event. Everyone had a great time and was safe. We wish Carey & Jeff much love and warmth on this cold, wintry night and many years to come.
