While eating at the Severn Inn last weekend, we came upon a
piece of art that, to us, illustrates how connected the Annapolis community is.
Community Ties
We were eating lunch and awaiting the arrival of a small
wedding party to photograph at the Severn Inn. We regularly frequent the Severn
Inn both as a costumer and as photographers. We noticed a piece of art, a blue
glass bowl. It piqued our interest as we had recently done some commercial
product photography for a glass artist. It turns out, that bowl sitting at
Severn Inn was created by William Donaldson, the very same artist who we shot
photos for who lives right here in Annapolis.
Here’s how local businesses give back to each other in our
small town Annapolis community. Annapolis Artist, William Donaldson hires KRR
to photograph his collection of art products. KRR buys food from locally run restaurant,
Severn Inn. Severn Inn buys a glass bowl from a local artist, William
Donaldson. This is the circle of life that keeps small businesses like us
alive. Support local, and you’ll see it come around sooner or later
